Why So Serious

Il était temps de donner quelques nouvelles sur ce pauvre blog qui n'avance pas du tout du coup. Alors pour commencer mon trajet s'est très bien passé l'avion etc tout était super j'ai même pas matter un tat de film durant mon trajet Dubaï / Sidney ! Arrivé avec un peu de retard mais bon c'était le moindre mal vu que mon pote Tim est venu me chercher a l'aéroport pour me déposer à mon auberge !! (Merci Tim !). Rendu à la dite auberge, le receptionnist se rend compte que j'ai réserver une chambre dans un dortoire de fille (merci internet :D) il m'a donc placé dans une chambre individuelle pour la nuit et pour le même prix surtout la joie !!

Ensuite quelques jours après être arrivé pour se remmetre du décalage horaire (c'est pas si simple que je pensais !!) à être fatiguer tot le soir (21h) et a se reveiller a 5h, commence à fait les démarchent sur place : terminé mon ouverture de compte en banque NZ, aller chercher une carte prépayé et avoir un numéro de téléphone portable NZ, faire ma demande d'IRD, trouver du boulot en NZ etc ...

Résultat je suis arrivé samedi a 14h heure locale, mon compte était opérationel le lundi ainsi que mon numéro de téléphone, j'avais un rendez vous pour un boulot le mardi et ma demande d'ird a été faite le mardi. Résultat le boulot où j'ai pointé mardi était un peu sous payé etc donc Tim a demander au gens avec qui il bosse s'il avait pas besoin d'un charpentier résultat mercredi entretient et hier premier jour d'essaie, ce soir embauché ! Tranquille !

Bon pour parler un peu de la Nouvelle Zélande, il fait pas si chaud que ca, forcément en plein aprèm en plein soleil ca cogne, mais dès qu'on est a l'ombre ou que le soleil se cache il fait beaucoup moins chaud et on supporte un pull !! Pour le moment je suis un peu blasé avec toute les démarches a faire et le nouveau boulot (assé prenant vu que Jeudi j'ai quand meme fait 6h30 / 17h) je n'ai absolument rien vu du paysage de l'ile ... Tant qu'une fille que j'ai rencontré a l'aéport de Paris est deja partie en randonné et poste plein de photo sur facebook, blasant !! (Merci Carole !!)

Sinon les gens sont plutot méga cool, aussi bien dans l'auberge (mais jusque la rien d'étonnant) que dans la rue (la ca surprend un peu plus), j'ai pu déja constater que le stop était un moyen de locomotion sans faille ici aussi !! Bref c'est la belle vie, sauf que je suis coincé dans la plus grande ville de Nouvelle Zelande sans moyen de locomotion pour aller voir autour, heureusement il y a le Ferry qui part du port à 3min à pied de mon auberge alors je pense en profiter sous peu !!

Waaa when i see all that text that i've to translate it scary me, anyway i have to do it ! So it was really time to update that blog a few. Let's start with my flight wich was really nice, long but confortable, i watched many movies during the longest flight (Dubaï / Sidney). I landed a bit late but that was worst it because my mate Tim came to pick me up and drove me to my hostel (Thanks Tim !!). Once the hostel reached, the receptionist told me i had booked in a women room so he gave me a private room really cosy for the same price !!

Then, few days after and once the jet lag has left (harder than i though) after being tired at 21h and waking up at 5, i had to start administrative tasks as opening a NZ bank account, having a local phone number, asking for an ird, finding a job ...

So landed on satursday at 14, bank account, local phone done on monday, interview for a job on tuesday and the same day i asked for my ird. Then Tuesday the job did fit me, not payed enought, so Tim asked on his site if someone needed a carpenter and i had another interview on wednesday morning, starting working yesterday as a trial and employed today ! Easy pizzy !!

About New Zealand, it is not as warm as you can imagine, when you stand in the sun it is but as soon as the sun is away it goes cold and windy, you better have a jumper ! Since today i'm a bit disapointed because i haven't seen any landscape from this island with all i had to do in that short while and my new job (yesterday 6:30 am till 5pm) ... Whereas i've met a girl in Paris' airport and she has already done some hiking and posted photos on facebook wich is even more desapointed (Thanks Carole !!)

People are really nice down here, i mean in the hostel of course they are i expected that, but they are in the street too ! And i tested hichiking wich seems to work really well ! Bref, life's cool here, exept that i'm stucked here without way to move. I'll try the ferry soon i think because he's only 3min walking away and i'll see !

Départ pour le grand voyage cet après midi au alentour de 15h ! Mon Papa m'a conduit à Poitiers chez Florina chez qui je passe la nuit pour ensuite prendre mon train demain matin à 9h15. Ce dernier me conduit à Roissy à 11h45 où je retrouve Marie pour une heure ou deux avant de prendre mon avion a 14h25 (vol n° EK074) j'attéri ensuite a Dubaï à 00h15 heure locale.

Après une escale de 10h sur le territoire arabe, je repars à 10h15 vendredi (vol n° EK412) et j'attéri samedi à 14h heure locale à Auckland !

Hier était la dernière nuit dans ma chambre, ce soir dernière nuit sur le territoire Francais, demain première nuit dans un aéroport étrangé et vendredi première nuit dans un avion ! J'ai hate !!

Start for my big trip this afternoon around 3PM ! My daddy drove me at Poitiers at Florina's place where i'll sleep tonight and then i'll get my train tomorrow morning at 9:15. This one will pick me up at Roissy for 11:45. I'll see my friend Marie at the airport for one hour or two before taking my plan at 14:25 (Flight n° EK074) then I'll land at Dubaï at 00:15 local time.

After sleeping for 10 hours in the arabic land, i take another plane on friday 10:15 (fligh n° EK412) and I'll land at Auckland at 2PM local time !

Yesterday was my last night in my bedroom, tonight is my last one in France, tomorrow will be my first one in an foreign airport and friday will be my first on an airplane !! I'm so in a hurry !!

Petite découverte du jour : Flickr. Dorénavant je vais poster mes photos sur ce site directement (car les photos sont beaucoup plus facile çà regarder, trier et classer, uploader et aussi pcq ce site propose 1To de stockage gratuit ce qui me servira aussi de sauvegarde et évitera de remplir mon PC et/ou mon disque dur). Mais pas d'inquiétude je posterai toujours les liens des photos qui vont avec les articles (quand il y en a) donc pas besoin d'aller vérifier tout les jours sur Flickr s'il y a du nouveau ;)

Nice found of the day : Flickr. From now on i'll be sharing my photos on that web site (because photos are easier to watch, sort, upload and olso because this web site allows 1To free online cloud storage which will avoid me to fill my hard drive). I'll still post photo links in my messages (when i'll put photos) so don't worry about checking Flickr everyday to see if somethings is new ;)

Ce matin je vous écris depuis la cafèt' de mon Hôtel à Paris ! Quel voyage jusque là, je suis arrivé ici vendredi matin à Montparnasse après un retard se la sncf (étonnant ?). Donc j'ai fait le touriste aussitôt arrivé en allant au 59eme étage de la fameuse tour montparnasse ! 38s pour monter le tout en assesseur, niquel ! la vue aurais pu être super cool s'il avait fait beau mais au lieu de ça la météo était pourri du coup on voyait y rien du "paysage" Parisien ! Du coup je me suis renfermé dans le musée eu Louvre histoire d'être à l'abri ^^ et ensuite j'ai retrouvé mon ami Marie pour finir ma journée en achetant mes premières paires de chaussures de Rando qui vont me suivre partout maintenant !!
Jour 2, exploration de fou dans Paris, voir tout ce qu'il y a à voir ou presque et fait la rencontre d'un groupe d'Angevin basé sur Paris pour deux semaines en train de pleurer devant le fameux match de rugby France/all black ! Du coup grâce à l'accueil très chaleureux de mes nouveaux amis on a passé la soirée tous ensemble, bu un peu et couché tôt comme il se doit ... ^^
Jour 3 Versailles dès 9h du matin (ah oui ai-je pensé à dire que la soirée de la veille avait fini à 7h un peu éméché ?). Du coup Versailles un peu déçu mais bon je l'aurai vu c'est déjà ça ! puis aprèm glandouille avec quelques angeviens survivant et pas trop fatigué.. Pour finir au bar la Mutinerie à faire des billards, des baby et boire un peu (encore ?!).

Au passage merci à vous les Angeviens et aux Parisiens c'était super de vous rencontrer !!

So yesterday morning i wrote from the hostel's kitchen in Paris ! Such a great trip, i arrived on Friday morning at Montparnasse after a little late from sncf (are you surprised ?). So i did the tourism at the first second i went out of the station by going into the 59th flood of the Tour Montparnasse! 38s to go up by lift (shamely there is no way by stairs). I think i could enjoy the view if it was sunny but the weather was so cloudy and grey (and rainny ^^) that i couldn't see anything of Paris' landscape So i went inside : Musée du Louvre ! Then i met up my friend Marie to end that day by buying new walking shoes (first trekking shoes) which will follow me for a very long time now !!

Day 2 : Exploring Paris ! I almost saw everything you can want to see and met a group of Angevin based in Paris for 2 weeks. They were crying because France was losing the rugdy against New Zeland (62 - 13 ...)! So they nicely asked me to stay with them because i took a chair next to them to eat a bit and we spend the night together, we didn't drink a lot and went to bed early of course .... ^^

Day 3 : Versailles, wake up at 9:00 (did i mention that we went to bed a 7:00 and a bit drunk ?). About Versailles, i didn't really enjoyed it, i wanted to see and i did, but it is not my favourite place to go ! Then we spend our afternoon doing nothing because we were too tired to move ourslves.. But we end the day in a pub called la Mutinerie meeting new people, drinking, playing billiards and baby foot !!

By the way i would like to thank the Angevins and the Parisiens, i was really cool to meet you up !!

Dans la foulée de mon petit tour à Bruxelles, je suis aussi aller faire un tour à Amsterdam (et ouais pourquoi pas après tout). Après avoir préparé mon voyage encore plus à l'arrache que celui vers Bruxelles je finis par réserver un bus à 15h30 pour partir à 17h, bus qui me dépose gentillement à ... 7km du centre ville d'Amsterdam !! Il a donc fallu que je prenne le train pour arriver à la gare centrale d'Amsterdam au alentours de 22h pour ensuite rejoindre mon hotel. Amsterdam quelle ville ! Un monde fou même a minuit, il faut dire que c'était les fameuses "sails 2015" ce qui apparement attirent pas mal de monde et quand on tombe dedans on comprend pourquoi !! Des centaines et des centaines de bâteaux (la plupart à voiles) qui traversent les canaux juste devant nous en pleine nuti tout feux allumés, c'était magique, splendide !! En parlant de canaux il a fallu en traverser un pour rejoindre l'hotel ce qui nous à pris un petit moment vu la "circulation" dans le dit canal. Une fois arrivé à l'hotel, surprise, on fait parti des 1.000 premier à avoir réservé donc petit cadeaux, petite photo exposée sur le mur du hall enfin la total quoi des vrais VIP.

Le lendemain, balade en ville ! Les bâtiments me rappellent un peu Stockholm, mais ca ne gâche en rien le plaisir de découvrir une nouvelle ville ! On a manger dans un réstaurant Français (et oui messieux dames !) et on est même passer dans le fameux quartier rouge, ce qui je dois avouer est un peu déroutant ...

Once I've seen "nearly almost" eveything I could see in Brussels it was time to go to Amsterdam. After having properly prepared my trip (which means booking my bus at 15h30 and leave at 17h), the bus left me 7km away from the city center ... So i had to take train to go there and achieved the Main station around 22h. Amsterdam such a beautifull place ! Lot of people outside at midnight but it was "sails 2015" which is well-know and when you are in you definitely understand why !! Thousand and thousand of boat (mostly sails) crossing the channels just in front of us, in the middle of the night all light turned on, it was truly magical, wonderful ! But we had to cross that chanel to go to the hostel, which wasn't that easy in view of the "traffic". One we reached the hostel, surprise, we were in the first 1.000 curtomers of the newly build hostel ! So we get some gitfs and a photo of us on the hall wall like true VIP !

The day after, time to explore ! Building look like Stockholm's but it is still a pleasure to discover another place ! We eat in a french restaurant (yes we did !) and we olso went into the red quarter which is really ... disturbing ...

Bonjour les amis ! Aujourd'hui nous allons parler un peu de Bruxelles où je suis parti en vacances cet été (un peu) sur un coup de tête ! Billets achetés le jeudi, départ le samedi pas de quoi s'affoler ... Alors que dire de Bruxelles, la ville est super belle, les bâtiments surtout dans les lieux les plus connus comme la fameuse Grand-Place ! Après la grosse déception a été le Manneken-Pis qui n'est rien qu'une toute petite statue de rien du tout au milieu d'une rue commerçante hors de prix (ce n'est qu'un avis personnel hein). Mis a part ça, ce séjour en dortoir vraiment au top, avec des superbes rencontres que je suis pas prêt d'oublier !! Des balades en ville où on s'est complétement perdu, merci aux gens qui nous ont aidé à trouver notre chemin et à notre carte (on a quand même réussi à perdre une église de vue ce qui est quand même de l'ordre du paranomal à mon sens) ... Bref je vous laisse regarder les photos et je garde un peu les détails de mon séjour pour moi !

Hey buddies ! Today we'll talk about Brussels where I spend a part of my summer holidays (a bit) on a whim ! Tickets and room booked on Thursday for Saturday nothing to worry about .. So about Brussels, such a nice place, buldings and well-known places are great like the "Grand-Place" ! But i have been disapointed about the Manneken-Pis which is nothing more than a small statue in the middle of an expensive shopping street (only in my opinion). This apart, dormitaries were extra and i met some really nice people there ! We got lost many times while walking across the city but thanks to natives and maps we have been able to find our way (we even lost track of a church which seems unbelievable to me). Bref i let you watch the photos and i keep my trip's details for myself !

Ah, quoi de mieux qu'un Noël en famille ? Et bien un Noël en famille a Grenoble !! Après avoir travailler le 24 au matin, direction Grenoble avec mon Papa c'est parti pour 6h30 de route non stop et un réveillon bien mérité ! Petite balade dans la ville, ascention de la Bastille de Grenoble avec une vue sur la chaine des Alpes par un soleil couchant, la ville de nuit, les montagnes, sublime !!

Ah what can be better that being with your family for Christmass ? Being with your family for Christmass in Grenoble !! After having work the 24 in the morning, let's start a 6h30 non stop trip and get a hardly earned christmass eve ! Walk though the city, ascending untill "La Bastille de Grenoble" which offers us a great view of the Alpin chains by sun rise, town at night, mountains, great !!

Et oui il faut bien commencer par quelque chose, alors j'ai décidé de poster quelques photos de mon voyage en Suèdes (datant d'Avril 2014).

And i've just though that I'll have to translat everything in English because it is more "international" and will make the most of you understand, so here we go ! As i told in french just before, I have to start with something, so i decided to share some photos from my Sweden trip from April 2014.

So I was based up there in Falun for 2 week. It is a lovely town -not bigger than my home city which is Poitiers- and quite lost into the forest with a big late just 5 minutes foot walk away. I went in Stockholm with the people i met up in falun (i was visiting someone who setted up there 3 months before) and i found it really beautiful, i have such great memories from this city ! And it never sleeps, i can remember that i've seen race between two Lamborgini in the middle of the night in stockholm streets ... And the architecture is awesome too so are the natives !!!

Petit doublon pour les gens non anglophone :

J'ai donc attérit à Falun pendant 2 semaines. Une charmante ville 'pas trop grosse, un peu comme ma ville d'origine qui est Poitiers- et un peu perdu dans la foret avec un super lac à seulement 5 minutes à pied. Je suis aussi allé à Stockholm avec les gens que j'ai rencontré a Falun (j'ai retrouvé quelqu'un qui habitait deja sur place depuis 3 mois) et j'ai trouvé Stockholm vraiment très beau, j'ai vraiment de bon souvenirs dans cette ville ! Et elle ne dort jamais, je me rappelle avoir assisté à des courses de Lamborgini en plein milieu de la nuit dans les rues ... Et les bâtiments sont superbe un peu comme les gens qui y vivent !!

Et pour la petite anecdote : c'était la première fois que je prenais l'avion ..
